Gel Pads, Extra Soft Gap Fillers
In some instances where puncturing from sharp edges may be a problem, Gel Pad "GPN" will solve this problem. Using the same material formulation as "GP", "GPN" is extruded with a nylon mesh that makes it more puncture resistant while not affecting the thermal properties of the base material. The mesh stiffens the material so that
it will not stretch as much as "GP".
As with all other Tek-Sil® materials, Teknational will die cut special shapes to customer specifications.
To order sheets of "GPN", specify the thickness
(Part number GPN-60 for a sheet .06" (1.5mm) thick).
