For extremely thin sheets, the self-clinching TFH series of studs offer an ideal solution by ensuring strong, reusable threads in panels as thin as .020 inches / 0.51 mm, and can also be utilized in thicker sheets where flush head studs aren't necessary. The fastener head slightly elevates above the panel in which it is installed. The stud head will protrude above the sheet surface by approximately .025 inches.

Once installed, the self-clinching stud securely locks into the thin sheet panel and delivers outstanding pushout and torque-out values.
