CLA ALUMINUM

Self-clinching aluminum nuts offer a sturdy, reusable thread in their aluminum assembly, while maintaining weight considerations as a priority. These offer an affordable and simple installation solution for embedding strong threads into thin aluminum sheet metal. These clinch nuts outperform tapped threads created in extruded holes within thin aluminum sheets in terms of strength and endurance.

Self-clinching nuts are installed by placing them into appropriately sized drilled or punched openings in sheets and upon being pressed into the sheet, it becomes an integral component of the chassis. A serrated clinching ring inhibits the fastener from spinning after being installed, keeping the opposite side flush and smooth.

CLA nuts come in both aluminum and non-plated varieties. Aluminum CLA nuts are suggested for usage in aluminum sheets.
