Self-Clinching nuts offer robust, load-bearing threading solutions for sheet metal and thin metal assembly applications. Self-clinching nuts are installed by placing them in appropriately sized drilled or punched openings in sheets and upon being pressed into the sheet, it becomes an integral component of the chassis. A serrated clinching ring ensures that the fastener does not rotate post-installation, with the reverse side flush and smooth.

SS nuts are available in Heat-Treated Carbon Steel and either Zinc plated or unplated variants, providing load-bearing threads in steel or aluminum sheets.
