DSOS STAINLESS STEEL THREADED
These self-clinching, threaded standoffs install with a squeeze in punched or drilled round holes and become permanently mounted in sheets as thin as .037" thick. Cost of installation is low and provides a strong, reuseable thread within the sheet.
The fasteners are often used for securing D-sub connectors to enclosure backplanes and to provide a flush mounting surface for RFI/EMI gaskets or other spacing needs in close-to edge applications, where there is limited space.
